Special Address by Majlis-e-Shura Member Abdul Habib Attari at the Ijtima-e-Ghausia in Baghdad, Iraq

On Wednesday, September 23, marking the sacred Urs of Huzoor Ghaus-e-Azam Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him), Dawat-e-Islami will host its spiritually enlightening Ijtima-e-Ghausia at 9:30 PM in the historic city of Baghdad, Iraq.

The renowned scholar and preacher of Dawat-e-Islami, Abdul Habib Attari, will deliver a special spiritual address at the Baghdad gathering. Every year in Baghdad, Dawat-e-Islami organizes the Ijtima-e-Ghausia during the Urs of Ghaus-e-Pak to highlight the blessings of visiting shrines, the religious services rendered by the saints of the Ummah, the accounts of the righteous predecessors, and particularly the biography of the revered host of the Urs, Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, while also teaching the proper etiquette of visiting blessed shrines. As every year, large numbers of devotees from across the Arab and non-Arab worlds who hold deep love and reverence for Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (may Allah have mercy on him) have already arrived in Baghdad to participate in the Urs celebrations.

Dawat-e-Islami’s Ijtima-e-Ghausia in Baghdad will be held at Hotel Mansour Melia Baghdad, located near 89HW+5H, Sinak Bridge, 10004 Baghdad, Baghdad Governorate. All lovers of Ghaus-e-Azam currently present in Baghdad for the pilgrimage and Fateha at the blessed shrine are urged to attend this gathering and enrich themselves with the spiritual blessings of the Friends of Allah (Awliya).
