Sunnah-inspired Ijtima Nairobi-Kenya
Step into the vibrant heart of Nairobi, Kenya, where a remarkable event unfolded
The annual Ijtima e Ghousia event will take place on October 26th at the Global Madani Markaz, Faizan e Madina in Karachi.
This event commemorates the annual Urs (death anniversary) of the revered figure, Piran Pir Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jilani, also known as Ghous-e-Azam, (رحمة الله عليه). This occasion is marked by gatherings and assemblies held worldwide.
These gatherings highlight the life and character of Sultan al-Auliya Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, his revered status, ethics and traditions, religious and social services, prominent contributions to the revival of religious practices, education and upbringing, and his adherence to the Islamic law and spiritual path. Additionally, his disciples and admirers arrange special supplications to seek blessings for his noble soul.
These events are part of the global movement for religious and spiritual enlightenment based on the Quran and Sunnah, initiated by the founder of DawateIslami, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri Rizvi. The center of this deep faith and devotion is the shrine of Ghous-ul-Wara, Ghous Pak (رحمة الله عليه). DawateIslami affiliated individuals observe an annual gathering on the 11th of Rabi-ul-Akhir to celebrate this devotion. On a social level, the International Madani Markaz Faizan e Madina hosts the annual Ghousia event, which is attended by thousands of disciples of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (رحمة الله عليه).
As per previous years, the annual Ijtima e Ghousia program for this year will commence on the night of 26th October, corresponding to the 11th of Rabi-ul-Akhir, at 8:30pm at the Global Madani Markaz, Faizan e Madina in Karachi. The program will include recitations of the Quran and Naat, speeches, a Ghousia procession, Madani Muzakra, narratives of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani's life, supplications, and a communal meal. The event will conclude with the hosting of a meal for the devotees of Ghous-e-Azam (رحمة الله عليه).
