Address by the Head of the Central Shura at a Dawat-e-Islami Congregation during a Religious Tour of Nampula Province, Mozambique

On 20 January 2026, a special Dawat-e-Islami gathering will be held at Pavilhão do Ferroviário, City of Nampula, where the Supervisor of the Central Shura will deliver a special address. Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Imran Qadri, who is currently on a religious tour of African countries for the propagation of Islam, will visit Nampula Province, Mozambique, on 20 January. In addition to the central Dawat-e-Islami gathering, he will also visit Jamia-tul-Madinah institutions.

 

Dawat-e-Islami has been continuously engaged in religious and educational services in Nampula for a long time, guiding the Muslim community of Mozambique—devotees of the Messenger —towards the basic teachings of Islam, the guidance of the Qur’an, and living life in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad . The Supervisor of the Central Shura, Haji Imran, regularly undertakes religious tours to Africa to bring Muslims closer to their faith.

 

According to the schedule, the Ijtima at Pavilhão do Ferroviário, City of Nampula, will begin at 9:00 AM on 20 January, and the special address by the Supervisor of the Central Shura will take place at 1:15 PM.
