Special Madani Muzakarah on the Excellence of the Companions and the Ahl al-Bayt

From 15 June 2026 until 11th Muharram, a special Madani Muzakarah on the topic of the Excellence of the Noble Companions (Sahabah) and the Blessed Ahl al-Bayt will be held every night after the Isha prayer at the Global Madani Markaz, Faizan-e-Madinah.

With the arrival of Muharram al-Haram, the first month of the Islamic year 1448 AH, one of the greatest events dedicated to the dissemination of Islamic knowledge will commence with the Madani Muzakarah of the renowned spiritual and scholarly leader of the Muslim world, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri.

As in previous years, this knowledge-enriching gathering serves as a source of guidance and enlightenment for thousands of participants. During these sessions, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat provides scholarly, well-reasoned, and evidence-based answers to questions that often concern and challenge people's minds.

Particularly during Muharram al-Haram, the discussions focus on the virtues, excellence, and noble qualities of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and the Blessed Ahl al-Bayt. The glorious chapters of Islamic history are revisited, highlighting the mutual love, respect, and devotion shared between the Sahabah and the Ahl al-Bayt. Historical accounts are presented to illustrate their deep affection and strong bonds, while inspiring narratives of reverence for the Companions and love for the Ahl al-Bayt illuminate hearts with their remembrance.

In the light of the Holy Qur'an and Sunnah, the virtues of the Sahabah and the noble status of the Ahl al-Bayt are discussed in detail. The special Muharram Madani Muzakarah also includes the remembrance of the beloved grandson of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, the Leader of the Youth of Paradise, Imam Husayn  رضي الله عنه , and his devoted companions.

The sacrifices made by Imam Husayn  رضي الله عنه  for the supremacy of Islam and the establishment of truth inspire hearts with love and devotion for the Ahl al-Bayt. Tributes of respect and affection are presented in honour of Imam Husayn  رضي الله عنه  and his loyal supporters who embraced martyrdom with unwavering determination on the blessed land of Karbala.
