The Medical Department of Dawat-e-Islami will organize a three-day Sunnah-inspired gathering from August 14 to 16, 2026, at the Global Madani Markaz, Faizan-e-Madinah, Karachi. The event is exclusively for doctors, surgeons, consultants, medical specialists, dentists, pharmacists, paramedical professionals, and medical students. Thousands of healthcare professionals from across the country are expected to participate.
The medical profession is one of the noblest fields of service to humanity, founded on compassion, sincerity, and care for those suffering from illness. Patients place their trust in healthcare professionals, seeking treatment and hoping for recovery. Recognizing the significance and responsibility of this profession, Dawat-e-Islami has established initiatives through its Medical Department to integrate Islamic values with medical practice by promoting the religious, moral, and professional development of doctors and healthcare workers.
Across Pakistan, doctors, medical specialists, surgeons, and paramedical professionals associated with Dawat-e-Islami's Medical Department are not only providing medical care but are also promoting Islamic teachings, high moral values, and spiritual guidance. Through the guidance of the Sunnah of the Noble Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his blessed Seerah, the Medical Department of Dawat-e-Islami seeks to strengthen the spirit of serving humanity. Its mission is to help healthcare professionals view medical service as an act of worship, consider caring for patients as a means of attaining the pleasure of Allah Almighty, and encourage them to fulfill their professional responsibilities in accordance with Islamic principles, thereby achieving success in both this world and the Hereafter.
Being held on the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day, this three-day gathering will focus on the religious, moral, and professional development of doctors and paramedical professionals. Participants will be encouraged to spread the message of righteousness, strengthen their commitment to serving humanity, and enhance their professional practice in the light of Islamic teachings. The program will also feature special lectures and training sessions highlighting the importance of the medical profession, the responsibilities of healthcare professionals, and the Islamic perspective on serving humanity in a welfare-oriented society such as Pakistan.
On this occasion, the renowned spiritual and scholarly leader of the Muslim world, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Allama Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri, will grace the gathering with his presence and deliver a Sunnah-inspired address. The event will also feature speeches by Thinker of Dawat-e-Islami Haji Imran Attari, Mr. Abdul Habib Attari, Chief Executive of FGRF (Faizan Global Relief Foundation), as well as other distinguished Islamic scholars, doctors, and medical experts.
