Dawat-e-Islami Canada Launches "Foundations of Islam" Summer Course

Ottawa, Canada: Dawat-e-Islami Canada is pleased to announce the launch of its "Foundations of Islam" Summer Course, a 20-day educational program running from July 18 to August 8 at Madina Masjid & Centre Ottawa, 415 McArthur Avenue, Ottawa, ON K1K 1G5.

Designed for Muslims, new Muslims, families, and young learners, this free course offers a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental teachings of Islam in a friendly and engaging environment.

Participants will learn the core Islamic beliefs, faith in Allah, the Muslim belief regarding the Final Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the essential teachings of the Holy Quran, the Five Pillars of Islam, the correct method of performing the five daily prayers, Islamic morals and etiquette, the concepts of Halal and Haram, essential daily supplications (duas), and practical guidance for living an Islamic way of life.

One of the unique features of the course is its emphasis on practical learning. Along with classroom instruction, participants will receive hands-on training in the proper method of performing wudu (ablution), salah (prayer), and other essential acts of worship.

The course is being offered free of charge as part of Dawat-e-Islami Canada's educational initiatives to serve the Muslim community. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion. They will also be eligible for special discounts on future online courses offered by Dawat-e-Islami Canada.

Classes will be held every Saturday from July 18 to August 8, immediately after Zuhr prayer, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Madina Masjid & Centre Ottawa.

Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and pen for note-taking. Refreshments will be served after each class, and separate arrangements have been made to facilitate the participation of women.
