Participation of Maulana Abdul Habib Attari in the 1500th Mawlid Processions in Germany, Spain, and Italy

During his religious tour of Europe for the cause of Islamic preaching, the spokesperson of Dawat-e-Islami and renowned religious scholar, Maulana Abdul Habib Attari, will be participating in the celebrations of the 1500th birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in Germany, Spain, Italy, and other European countries.

According to the schedule of this European tour, the member of Dawat-e-Islami’s Central Shura, Maulana Abdul Habib Attari, will attend Seerah conferences and Mawlid-un-Nabi programs in various cities of Germany on 28th and 29th August 2025. There he will speak, in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah, on the significance and requirements of celebrating Mawlid-un-Nabi, and will also lead the Mawlid processions.

On 30th August, he will depart for Spain, where he will join the Mawlid-un-Nabi procession organized by the devotees of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and will address the gathering on the noble life of the Prophet.

On 31st August, he will travel to Italy to participate in the Mawlid procession and, together with the believers, will join in the grand celebrations of the 1500th birth anniversary of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The Rabi al-Awwal of 1447 marks the 1500th birth anniversary of the Final Messenger of Allah, which is regarded as the greatest religious festival in the Islamic world. It is celebrated with magnificence and deep devotion, reviving the spirit of following the Seerah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Devotees of the Prophet take to the streets with utmost respect, reciting salutations and chanting praises of the Messenger. Processions move across the cities, echoing with the voices of Salam upon the Beloved of Allah, until they conclude in an atmosphere filled with love and reverence.

This centuries-old Islamic tradition is observed in a purely Islamic manner, and Dawat-e-Islami, in its unique style, highlights the blessed status of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Muslims residing in Europe eagerly join these processions to attain the blessings of Mawlid, and they continue to benefit spiritually from these celebrations throughout the year.
