Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

24.12

لَوْ لَاۤ اِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوْهُ ظَنَّ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتُ بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ خَیْرًاۙ-وَّ قَالُوْا هٰذَاۤ اِفْكٌ مُّبِیْنٌ(12)

Kanz-ul-Irfan

Why, when you heard it, did the believing men and women not think good of their people and say, “This is clear slander?”[1]

Some Muslims had an ill opinion in this matter, but this was never the case for the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, who did not doubt Lady Aisha’s chastity for a single moment. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم took an oath and said, “I only know goodness regarding the people of my household.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Al-Bukhārī). Despite being aware of the clear words of the hadith, the one who ascribes an ill opinion to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is a liar, slanderer, and evil.
