Ḥusain (who are currently sitting on my shoulders and whom you are beholding).”

The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم continued his discourse and said:

Their maternal grandfather is the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Their maternal grandmother is Khadīja al-Kubrā رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا. Their mother is Fāṭima al-Zahrā رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Their father is ꜤAlī b. Abī Ṭālib رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. Their paternal uncle is JaꜤfar b. Abī Ṭālib رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. Their paternal aunt is Umm Hānī bint Abī Ṭālib رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا. Their maternal uncle is Qāsim رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ, the son of the Messenger of Allah. Their maternal aunts are Zaynab, Ruqayya, and Umm Kulthūm رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَنَّ, the daughters of Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

Then, continuing his speech, he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

O people! Listen! Their maternal grandfather (and grandmother) are destined for Paradise; their father (and mother) are destined for Paradise; their paternal uncle is destined for Paradise; their paternal aunt is destined for Paradise; their maternal uncle (and) aunts are destined for Paradise; both of these two are destined for Paradise; and whoever loves them is also destined for Paradise.'^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Excellence of love for Ḥasanain Karīmain

Dear Islamic Brothers! We have heard this blessed Hadith, and at the end of it, the noble Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: وَمَنْ اَحَبَّہُمَا فِی الْجَنَّۃِ  “Whoever loves Ḥasan and Ḥusain رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُما, he too is destined for Paradise.”
