Beatuiful Character of Sayyidunā ꜤUthmān b. ꜤAffān رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ
steadfastness, he released him from captivity.[1]
سُبْحٰنَ اللہ! Dear Islamic brothers! Reflect upon his unwavering faith. Possessing the strongest faith is a unique quality of the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. There is no one in the world, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be, whose faith matches that of the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! Sayyidunā ꜤUthmān رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ received the blessings of this Prophetic attribute.
If only we too are granted steadfastness upon Islam, and true concern for protecting our faith.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Among the beautiful qualities of Sayyidunā ꜤUthmān رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ is the noble trait of modesty. He is the most modest person in the Ummah. It is stated in a Hadith, “Modesty is part of faith, and ꜤUthmān رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ is the most modest of my Ummah.”[2]
The Angels felt Modesty before him
The mother of the believers, Sayyidah ꜤĀˈishah al-Ṣiddīqah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْها narrates:
Once, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was sitting and his shin was uncovered. During this time, Sayyidunā Abū Bakr رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ came, and the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم remained in the same state. Then Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ came, and he remained as he was. Then Sayyidunā ꜤUthmān رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ arrived, and the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم covered his blessed shin.
