Attributes of Sayyidunā Ismail عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم

ꜤAmāliqah. He called them towards the path of truth and towards pious deeds. Many people accepted his invitation, recited the Kalimah, and became deserving of Paradise.

Allah Almighty further states:

وَ كَانَ یَاْمُرُ اَهْلَهٗ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَ الزَّكٰوةِ۪-

And he would command his family to pray and give zakat (alms).[1]

This is another beautiful trait of Sayyidunā IsmāꜤīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم. He would not only invite his nation to pious deeds but also commanded his family members to perform Salah and give Zakat.

وَ كَانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖ مَرْضِیًّا(۵۵)

and he was highly regarded by His Lord.[2]

This highlights his elevated status—that he holds a lofty rank in the court of Allah, and is His beloved servant.

May Allah have mercy upon us. We are not worthy of anything, but for the sake of Sayyidunā IsmāꜤīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, and His Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, may He be pleased with us.

اٰمِیْنْ بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّٖن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
