contains the accounts of the Noble Prophets علیہمُ السّلام and the Saints, the praise of the Noble Companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُم, and the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt. From this, we learn that mentioning the Prophets is the dhikr of Allah, mentioning the Awliyāˈ is the dhikr of Allah, and mentioning Noble Companions and the Ahl al-Bayt علیہمُ الرِّضْوَان is also the dhikr of Allah.[1]
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to perform this dhikr in abundance.
Allah Almighty said: “And remember Ismāʿīl in the Book.” After this, it was stated:
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ
He was true to his word.[2]
This is a beautiful attribute of Sayyidunā IsmāꜤīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم that he was true to his promises. Certainly, all the Noble Prophets علیہمُ السّلام are truthful in their promises, but Sayyidunā IsmāꜤīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم holds a distinguished rank in fulfilling promises. That is why Allah mentioned his special attribute and said:
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ
He was true to his word.[3]
It is further stated:
وَ كَانَ رَسُوْلًا نَّبِیًّاۚ(۵۴)
and a Messenger, a Prophet.[4]
This is a mention of the glory and greatness of Sayyidunā IsmāꜤīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم. Allah Almighty sent him as a Prophet to the tribe of Jurhum and the people of
