If we do not act now, we will only feel regret. We will not even be given enough time to say ‘سُبْحٰنَ اللہ’ once to increase our pious deeds. Therefore, we should value this life and spend it in doing good and preparing for the Hereafter.
Dear Islamic brothers! There is no doubt that everything has a purpose. Whether it is our clothes, a pen for writing, a house to live in, or a watch on our wrist; whether it is a bike or an aeroplane, everything has a reason for existing. Every object helps in fulfilling its purpose.
Think for a moment! When everything in the universe has a purpose, was man created without one? Is man, who is the best of all creations, without a purpose? Was the creation of man without a reason? No! Not at all! Man was not created without purpose in this world. In Juzˈ 18, Surah al-Muˈminūn, Verse 115, it is stated:
Do you think that We have created you without purpose and that you will not be returned to Us?[1]
O devotees of the Holy Prophet! Think about this! This blessed verse of the Holy Quran shows that man was created for a special purpose. Allah Almighty has mentioned that purpose Himself in the Holy Quran. In Part 27, Surah al-Dhariyat, Verse 56, it is stated:
And I did not create jinn and mankind but to worship Me.[2]
