Sayyidunā Zubayr b. al-ꜤAwwāmرَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ was extremely trustworthy. Because of his honesty, people would leave many of their belongings with him for safekeeping. When Sayyidunā Zubayr b. al-ꜤAwwāmرَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ was returning from the Battle of Jamal, a person named Ibn Jurmūz followed him and martyred him through deception on 11 Jumadā al-Ukhrā, 36 AH.[1]
His blessed shrine is in Iraq. The area where it is located is named "Madinat-uz-Zubayr." (This is in the Valley of Siba in the province of Basra).[2]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Truly, the wise person is the one who prepares for death before it arrives. One should spend life according to the commands of Allah Almighty and His Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The successful person is the one who gathers the "provisions for the journey" before becoming a traveller towards the Hereafter. Remember, this worldly life is very short:
1. Every breath we take is bringing us closer to death.
2. Every breath is taking us towards the end of this worldly life.
3. Every breath is taking us closer to the pit of the grave.
4. Every breath is like a fast step moving us from this world towards the life of the grave (ꜤĀlam al-Barzakh).
5. Every breath is taking us towards meeting the Angel of Death.
6. Every breath is making our worldly journey shorter.
7. Every breath is becoming a means for us towards the journey of the Hereafter. As soon as the string of breaths break, our chain of actions will also stop.
