Who is the Perfect Believer?

Meaning, O believers! Worry about your faith! Keep making it stronger! May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to do so. Come! Let us listen to the signs of a perfect believer, and then make the intention to adopt them as well:

(1): A perfect believer avoids useless matters

A fundamental sign of a perfect believer is that he avoids futile actions. Allah Almighty states:

وَ الَّذِیْنَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُوْنَۙ(۳)

those who refrain from futile activities;^{^[1]}

We and futile and matters

Dear Islamic brothers! It is a sign of a perfect believer that he values time; he does not waste his precious time in futile activities. Because the one with faith knows that I have not been given this life uselessly, I must die, I have to be resurrected on the Day of Judgement, I have to present myself before the Lord, I will have to give an account of every single moment of my life, since he fears presenting himself before his Lord, since he worries about the accountability of the Day of Judgement, since he is responsible for every single moment of his life, he does not spend his time in useless matters; he values his time.

But alas! Today our condition is dire; there is an abundance of pointless activities. Every person you see is engaged in wasting their time:

1. Sometimes in the name of birthdays

2. Sometimes in the name of New Year's Night

3. Sometimes in the name of an anniversary

4. Sometimes in the name of picnics, sinful functions are organised; many hours are sacrificed not just to useless matters but to sins
