Motivation for pious deed number 21

Dear Islamic brothers! To become a believer of good character, and to attain the fear of Allah Almighty and the love of the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, associate yourselves with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami! Participate actively in the 12 Religious Activities. One of the 12 Religious Activities is filling in the booklet of pious deeds. In this booklet, 72 pious deeds have been given in the form of questions and answers. One of these pious deeds is pious deed number 21: Did you awaken people for Fajr today?

Dear Islamic brothers! Awakening people for the Fajr prayer is a Prophetic Sunnah. The final Prophet of Allah Almighty صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, while going for Fajr, used to awaken those who were asleep^[1].  The second Caliph of Islam, Sayyidunā ꜤUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ also had this same practice^[2], and the fourth Caliph of Islam, Sayyidunā ꜤAlī b. Abī Ṭālib رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ was also acted upon this beautiful Sunnah.^[3]

You too should adopt this Sunnah! Make it a habit to awaken people for the Fajr prayer! ان شاءاللہ الکریم! You will receive many blessings If you awaken others, you yourself will also get the privilege to offer the Fajr prayer in congregation. You will receive the reward of spreading the call to righteousness early in the morning. However, many people pray because of your awakening them, you will also receive the reward for all their prayers, and ان شاءاللہ الکریم! It will also be written in your record of deeds.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Bringing the speech towards its conclusion, I will attain the privilege of mentioning the excellence of a Sunnah and some etiquettes of life.
