Would that we attain the concern for our prayers.

Read the Holy Quran! In the fifth juzˈ, there is a mention of Salat al-Khawf (the prayer of fear). What is Salat al-Khawf? The prayer offered in a state of war! Once, the non-Muslims conspired, saying that Muslims hold prayer very dear to themselves; when they are praying, we will attack them. Allah Almighty commanded His beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم regarding Salat al-Khawf that during the battle, when the time for prayer arrives, they should do this: half the companions should join the prayer, half should stand guard, then the remaining half should join the congregational prayer while the first half stands guard. In short, there is a complete method for Salat al-Khawf, which is mentioned in the books.

The purpose of mentioning this is that today we miss our prayers over trivial matters, we miss the congregation; whereas prayer is so important that even during a state of war, when non-Muslims had planned an attack, even then, permission was not granted to miss the prayer.

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability; may we be blessed with the concern for prayer.

(3): A believer is of good character

Dear Islamic brothers! The third and most important sign of a perfect believer is good manners. It is in a blessed Hadith: The Noble Messengerصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: اِنَّ اَکْمَلَ الْمُؤمِنِینَ اِیْمَانًا اَحْسَنُہُمْ خُلُقًا i.e., Among the believers, the one with the most perfect faith is the one who has the best manners.[1]

Therefore, we learn that the better a person's manners are, the stronger and more perfect their faith is. Unfortunately, in this matter, today Muslims are lacking greatly. Originally, Islam gave the lesson of good manners, but we abandoned good manners! The outsiders adopted our very own good manners. Now the situation has reached a point where we learn our own
