The Virtuous Mornings of the Pious People

Dear Islamic brothers! We should reflect upon our morning states and our morning habits; as our morning passes, so will the entire day. Let us listen to the morning states of the Beloved Prophet, the Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Ahmad-e-Mujtaba صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, the noble Companions رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم, and the pious people:

The Beautiful Morning of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُnarrates: Once, at the time of the morning, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُpresented himself in the court of the Prophet and submitted: ‘کَیْفَ اَصْبَحْتَ یَارَسُولَ اللہ! O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! How did you find yourself this morning?’ He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّمreplied:

بِخَیْرٍ مِّنْ رَّجُلٍ لَّمْ يُصْبِحْ صَائِمًا وَّ لَمْ یَعُدْ مَرِیْضًا وَّ لَمْ یَشْہَدْ جَنَازَۃً

“My morning has been better than that of the person who neither found himself in a state of fasting, nor visited the sick, nor participated in a funeral.”[1]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ! What a beautiful morning it is...!! Every action of the Merciful Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  is unique, and on every occasion, the Ummah is provided with guidance. It is as if the Holy Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم  has encouraged us that a good morning is for the one who wakes up early and fasts, visits the sick, and possesses the desire in his heart to participate in a funeral to earn reward.

The Unique Morning of Sayyiduna Siddiq-e-Akbar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ

Now, listen to the state of the beautiful and unique morning of the first Caliph of the Muslims, Sayyiduna Siddiq-e-Akbar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. It is as if Sayyiduna Siddiq-e-Akbar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُwas the foremost in acting upon the matters pointed out by the Final Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Indeed! Listen to a blessed Hadith: It is narrated by Sayyiduna ‘Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُما that, “One day,
