Allah Almighty! Grant us the Eid of Hajj and visiting Madinah and the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم again and again.

اٰمِیْنْ بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّٖن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم

A Brief Introduction to Imam al-Bukhārī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه

Dear Islamic brothers! On the 1st of Shawwal, Imam Muhammad b. IsmāꜤīl al-Bukhārī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه left this world. So, let us listen to a short mention of him. He was a great Saint رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, a great scholar, and especially a great leader in the science of Hadith. He was born on 13 Shawwal 194 AH in Bukhara[1]  and passed away at the age of 62 on 1 Shawwal 256 AH.[2] His radiant shrine is in a town called "Khartank" near Samarkand.[3]

Imam al-Bukhārīرَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه  served the science of Hadith all his life. He was very devoted to worship and very pious. For a long time after his death, a fragrance better than musk came from his grave. People used to take the soil of his shrine as a Tabarruk (for blessing).[4] Send Īṣāl al-Thawāb to Imam al-Bukhārī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه today! اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه! You will receive blessings.

Encouragement for the Six Fasts after Eid

Dear Islamic brothers! Fortunate Muslims gain the blessing of keeping six fasts after Eid-ul-Fitr. Let us listen to the virtues of these fasts so that we may develop a mindset to keep them and benefit from their blessings:

1. It is stated in a Hadith: “Whoever kept the fasts of Ramadan and then kept six fasts in Shawwal, he has become free from sins as though his mother just gave birth to him today.”[5]
