Allah Almighty states in the Glorious Quran:

اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ اتَّخَذُوا الْعِجْلَ سَیَنَالُهُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ وَ ذِلَّةٌ فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیَاؕ-وَ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِی الْمُفْتَرِیْنَ(۱۵۲)

Indeed, those who deified the calf, soon wrath from their Lord and humiliation in the life of the world shall befall them; thus, We recompense the slanderers.^[1]

In Tafsīr Ṣirāṭ al-Jinān, it is mentioned that Sayyidunā Sufyān b. ꜤUyaynah رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه said: “This punishment applies to every innovator who comes until the Day of Judgment.”

And Sayyidunā Mālik b. Anas رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said: “Every innovator will have humiliation placed over his head,” and then he recited this very verse.^[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Love for Scholars, a Sign of Goodness!!

Dear Islamic brothers! What can be said about the love that Amīr Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ has for the scholars of Islam! He states: “For a religious scholar, there is love and respect in my heart. If Allah Almighty grants us the ability, then we should become scholars ourselves; otherwise, we should love the scholars.”^[3]

Remember well! Love for Sunnī scholars is a sign of goodness and righteousness.

Imam Qutaybah b. SaꜤīd رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states:

اِذَا ‌رَاَيْتَ ‌الرَّجُلَ ‌يُحِبُّ ‌اَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ فَاعْلَمْ اَنَّهٗ صَاحِبُ سُنَّةٍ وَجَمَاعَةٍ
