This is why, he says, “I not only attain the blessing of respecting and honouring the scholars myself, but I also encourage others to do the same.”[1]

A Brief Introduction to Amīr Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ

اللہ اکبر! Dear Islamic brothers! What great honour and rank our Amīr Ahl al-Sunnah has. May Allah Almighty keep his blessed shade over us for a long time. Let us listen to a brief introduction to Amīr Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ.

1. He was born with great blessings on 26th Ramadan Sharīf 1369 AH, corresponding to 12 July 1950, on a Wednesday, in the famous city of Karachi in Pakistan.

2. Amīr Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ has been very simple-natured since childhood; he never spoke ill of anyone nor engaged in quarrels.

3. Due to his strong religious inclination, he was adorned with the jewel of Islamic knowledge at a young age. To acquire knowledge, he read books and remained in the company of Islamic scholars. In this regard, he continuously attended the blessed gatherings of Mufti AꜤẓam Pakistan, ꜤAllāmah Mufti Waqār al-Dīn al-Qādirī al-Riḍawī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه for 22 years.

4. Mufti Waqār al-Dīn رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه and the commentator of Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Mufti Sharīf al-Ḥaqq al-Amjadī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه granted him Khilāfat.

5. In September 1981, Amīr Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ founded the religious movement of the devotees of the Messenger, Dawat-e-Islami. Although he had already been inviting people to righteousness, after the formal establishment of Dawat-e-Islami, he began this mission in an organised manner.
