3. Seventy portals of mercy

صَلَّی  اللّٰہُ  عَلٰی  مُحَمَّدٍ

Seventy portals of mercy are opened for whoever recites this ṣalāt.[1]

4. The reward of 600,000 alāt

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ   عَلٰی   سَیِّدِنَا   مُحَمَّدٍ  عَدَدَ مَا  فِیْ  عِلْمِ اللّٰہِ  صَلَاۃً   دَ اۤ ئِمَۃًۢ   بِدَوَامِ  مُلْكِ  اللّٰہِ

Shaykh Aḥmad Ṣāwī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه reports from some saints of Islam that by reciting this ṣalāt once, a person attains the reward of reciting ṣalawāt 600,000 times.[2]

5. Nearness to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

اَللّٰھُمَّ  صَلِّ  عَلٰی  مُحَمَّدٍ  کَمَا   تُحِبُّ  وَ  تَرضٰی  لَہٗ

Once, a person came to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Amazingly, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم made this person sit between himself and Sayyiduna Abū Bakr Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. The noble Companions رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم were surprised as to who this honoured person was. When he left, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم explained, “When he recites ṣalāt upon me, he
