    7.Whoever opens the knot of the shroud should recite this supplication: اَللّٰہُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا اَجْرَہٗ وَلَا تَفْتِنَّا بَعْدَہٗ O Allah! Do not deprive us of his reward, and do not put us to trial after him.[1]

    8.Seal the grave with mud bricks. If the soil is soft, placing wooden planks is also permissible.[2]

    9.Now pour soil into the grave. It is recommended to throw soil three times with both hands from the head-side. After throwing the first time, say: مِنْھَا خَلَقْنٰکُمْ. After throwing the second time, say: وَفِیْھَا نُعِیْدُ کُمْ. After throwing the third time, say وَمِنْھَا نُخْرِجُکُمْ تَارَۃً اُخْرٰی. Then cover the grave with the remaining soil using shovels or similar tools.
