Victory and Joy' (Sanat al-Fatḥ wa al-Ibtihāj).^[1]

Observations of Sayyidah Āminah رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهَا

The mother of the Prophet, Sayyidah Āminah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا, states: One day, I fell asleep and someone said to me in a dream: "Do you know that you are to become the mother of the leader and Prophet of this Ummah? At the time of his birth, a light will shine forth, illuminating the palaces of Busra in the land of al-Shām (Syria). When he is born, name him Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ ."^[2] In one narration, Sayyidah Āminah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا was told in a dream: "Soon, you will have a son; name him Aḥmad! He is the leader of all worlds."^[3]

In the narration of Muḥaddith Abū NuꜤaym رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ , it is related: When the time of the blessed birth arrived, Allah Almighty commanded the angels to open the gates of Paradise and all the heavens. On that day, the sun was enveloped in a great light, and in honour of the Prophet صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ , all women gave birth to boys that year.^[4]

Sayyidunā Ibn ꜤAbbās رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُما narrates: Lady Āminah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا said: In a dream, someone said: "O Āminah! You are to become the mother of     خَیْرُ الْعَالَمِیْن (the ‘Best of all worlds’). When he is born, name him Muhammad صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ , and keep your matter hidden.^[5]
