Safeguarding of orphans’ property
The noble Quran contains a description of the account of Prophet Mūsā and Prophet Khiḍr عَـلَيْهِمَا الـسَّلَام. At one point in their journey, they passed by a place where Sayyidunā Khiḍr عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم saw a wall that was about to collapse, which he fixed. When Sayyidunā Mūsā عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم asked about the wisdom behind this, Sayyidunā Khiḍr عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم replied:
As for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and their treasure was beneath it, and their father was a righteous man; so your Lord willed that they both reach their maturity and ˹then˺ take out their treasure; ˹it is˺ mercy from your Lord.[1]
