صَلُّوا عَلَی الْحَبِیْب!           صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلٰی مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! The Holy Quran is that sacred Book in which Allah Almighty has mentioned so many commandments. Some of the commandments are such that Allah Almighty has commanded Muslims to fulfil. For example, offering salah, paying zakat, observing fasting in Ramadan, performing hajj if one is capable of doing so, fulfilling the rights of parents and treating them kindly, for women to observe the veiling stipulated by shariah, greeting Muslims with salaam and being courteous to them.

On the other hand, there are certain evil actions that we have been commanded to avoid. For example, robbery, committing fornication, dealing with usury [interest], drinking alcohol, lying, displaying anger towards someone without cause, calling someone bad names, and so on.

In short, this sacred book mentions all those things by virtue of acting upon which a Muslim not only benefits in this world but will also اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه attain immense reward in the Hereafter too. Therefore, we should act upon these commandments wholeheartedly with steadfastness so that our life in this world and the Hereafter are the best they can be.

Allah Almighty states in juz 8, in verse 155 of Surah al-AnꜤām:

وَ ہٰذَا کِتٰبٌ اَنۡزَلۡنٰہُ مُبٰرَکٌ فَاتَّبِعُوۡہُ وَ اتَّقُوۡا لَعَلَّکُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۵۵﴾ۙ

And this is an auspicious Book (the Quran) which We have revealed, so follow it and adopt piety that you may be endowed with mercy.[1]
