* The length of the tail (shimla) of the Ꜥimāmah should be at least four fingers and at most one cubit (up to approximately half the back).[1] (The distance from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow is considered one cubit).

* The Sunnah is that the length of the Ꜥimāmah should not be less than 2.5 yards and not more than 6 yards, and it should be tied in a dome-like shape.[3]
