Who Deserves Wayl, the Valley of Hell?
* Backbiting destroys faith.
* It can lead to a bad end.
* The supplications of those who indulge in excessive backbiting are not accepted.
* The light and spiritual benefit of prayers and fasting disappear due to backbiting.
* It wastes one’s good deeds.
* Backbiting consumes good deeds as fire consumes wood.
* Even if the person repents, they will be the last to
enter Paradise.
In short, backbiting is a grave sin, completely forbidden, and it leads a
person to Hell.

* The person who engages in backbiting commits a greater sin than one who indulges in usury.
* If backbiting were to be thrown into the ocean, it would make the entire ocean foul-smelling.
* The one who engages in backbiting will be made to eat the flesh of the dead in Hell.

* The one who backbites will suffer torment in the grave.
