of Ghous e Aazam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, and they arrange Langar (charity meals) and other offerings to convey rewards (Eisal-e-Sawab) to Ghous e Aazam       رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, reaping the blessings of this noble act.

The Blessings of Giyarween Shereef

Dear Islamic brothers! We too must make it a point to observe Giyarween Shareef. What is Giyarween Shareef? It is an act of Eisal-e-Sawab (conveying rewards), and Eisal-e-Sawab is proven from the noble Qur’an and Hadith. The Companion of the Prophet, Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said: 'I asked in the blessed court of the Holy Prophet          صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, “We make prayers and give charity on behalf of our deceased loved ones. Do these things reach them?” The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied: “Indeed, these things reach them,                   وَ یَفْرَحُوْن بِہٖ کَمَا یَفْرَحُ اَحَدُکُمْ بِالْہَدْیَۃِ and they feel joy from it just as one of you feels joy when receiving a gift.”'^[1]

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! O devotees of Ghous e Aazam! Let us observe Giyarween Shareef and convey Eisal-e-Sawab to Sayyiduna Ghous e Aazam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه. If Ghous e Aazam رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه becomes pleased with us through this, what more could we desire...!!

The exegetist of the noble Qur'an, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Naeemi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه says: If every month on the eleventh night, one consistently buys the predetermined sweets from a Muslim shop and offers Fatiha for Giyarween Shareef, then there will be immense blessings in sustenance. And, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, one will never face difficulties. I personally adhere to this practice and, by the grace of Allah Almighty, reap countless benefits from it.^[2]
