Book Name:Rizq Mein Izafa Ki Asbab

˹Allah˺ with, by blessings of which rizq is given? When fajr begins, recite سُبْحٰنَ اللہِ وَبِحَمْدِہٖ سَبْحٰنَ اللہِ الْعَظِیْم، اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہ.”

The Companion رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ committed this to memory and left. He returned after a few days and exclaimed, “O Messenger of Allah (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم)! The wealth of the world came rushing to me, such that I did not know what to take and where to put it.” [1]

Sahl bin Sʿad رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ explains how a man complained of his poverty to the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. In reply, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Give salaam to your family when you enter your home. If nobody is inside, present salaam to me and recite قُل ہُوَ اللہ ُاَحَدْ (i.e all of Surat al-Ikhlāṣ) once.”

The Companion رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ acted upon this and became so wealthy that he began distributing his wealth amongst his neighbours and relatives.[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                          صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Rizq is a blessing

Dear Islamic brothers! Rizq, otherwise known as sustenance, is a great blessing given to us by Allah.

It is mentioned in the Quran:

فَاِذَا  قُضِیَتِ الصَّلٰوۃُ  فَانۡتَشِرُوۡا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ وَ ابۡتَغُوۡا مِنۡ فَضۡلِ اللّٰہِ

Then when salah is completed, so disperse in the land and seek Allah's benevolence (i.e. lawful sustenance)[3]
