An act superior to voluntary worship

The Proof of Islam, Imam Ghazali رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, says in Ihyāˈ ꜤUlūm al-Dīn:

To walk the path of truth in trade is more difficult than performing voluntary acts of worship with consistency. Therefore, a saint once said, اَلتَّاجِرُ الصَّدُوْقُ اَفْضَلُ عِنْدَ اللّٰہِ مِنَ الْمُتَعَبِّدِ “The truthful merchant is superior in the court of Allah Almighty than the devout worshipper."[2]

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to conduct our business affairs with caution and honesty.
