Dawat e Islami Aur Islah e Muashrah

Book Name:Dawat e Islami Aur Islah e Muashrah

The Fear of Allah Almighty is a Restraint

It is written in Iḥyāʾ al-ꜤUlūm: “The fear of Allah Almighty is a bridle between man and his Lord. When this bridle breaks, a person is destroyed.”[1]

ꜤAllāmah Ibn al-Jawzī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states:

“The fear of Allah Almighty is a means of attaining purity and piety. It destroys carnal desires and allows a person to perform actions that bring him closer to Allah Almighty.”[2]

Dawat-e-Islami and the Fear of Allah Almighty

O devotees of the Prophet! We live in an age where chasing the material wealth of this world has made us heedless. We have even heard of people who have lost family members, but instead of participating in gatherings to convey reward to the deceased, they watch movies.

اللہُ اَکْبَر! Despite these terrible state of affairs, Dawat-e-Islami is reminding people about the grave and the Hereafter. The religious environment of this organisation is inspiring us by informing us about the lives of our pious predecessors. It aims to instil the fear of Allah Almighty within us by reminding us about death, our graves and the impact of our negligence and sins. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! Dawat e Islami is perhaps the only organisation that leaves a person trembling and crying in the fear of Allah Almighty.
