continued to intensify in my heart. I was overcome with emotion and I wept profusely out of love for the beloved Prophet. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! I was inspired after listening to the bayān, so I visited the Shaykh, took oath of allegiance at his hands, grew my beard, and adorned my head with Ꜥimāmah.[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! This is your Dawat-e-Islami! You will come across many individuals who possess such devotion for the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم within this religious environment. May Allah Almighty grace us through the blessings of Dawat-e-Islami’s religious environment, and may we also be granted devotion for the Prophet, and become sincere and practicing devotees of the Prophet, اٰمِیْن.
The Third Pillar of an Ideal Community: Knowledge
Dear Islamic brothers! The third foundation of a perfect society is knowledge of Islam. The Quran states:
قُلۡ ہَلۡ یَسۡتَوِی الَّذِیۡنَ یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَا یَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ؕ
Say you (O Beloved), ‘Are those who know and who do not know equal?’[2]
Imagine a city in which all the people are blind. Can this city ever prosper? Of course not, they will find it difficult to live even a normal life. This is the example of knowledge and ignorance. If society does not prioritise religious knowledge, it is impossible to change people and improve the state of the community. There are still places in the world
