Some Points about Good Company
Dear Islamic brothers! We will now have the honour of listening to some points about good company. First of all, let us hear two statements of the beloved Prophet
“A man will be with the one he loves.”[1]
2. He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also said:
“A man is upon the religion of his friend. Therefore, each of you should look at who he befriends.”[2]
* The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the carrier of musk and a blacksmith. The owner of musk will either offer you something or you will buy it from him, or you will smell the pleasant odour coming from him. The blacksmith who blows the bellows will either burn your clothes or you will smell the repugnant odour coming from him.[3]
