Incredible Feat of Dawat-e-Islami

Dear Islamic brothers! It is unfortunate that many people in our society say a lot but do very little. Many say that by bettering ourselves, the state of our communities will improve, but there are a small number of people who are willing to hold themselves accountable. This is something proposed by great thinkers and intellectuals, but those who sincerely focus on their own rectification are very few.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! The mission statement of Dawat-e-Islami is to strive to rectify yourself and the people of the world. The first task Dawat-e-Islami gives us is to rectify ourselves and our actions. It does not merely tell us to do this unaided, it also provides us a system we can use to achieve this goal.

May Allah Almighty have mercy upon Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri     دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ who has granted us the gift of the Pious Deeds booklet. There are 72 Pious Deeds for Islamic brothers, 63 for sisters, 40 for students of Madrassa-tul-Madina, and 92 for students of Jamia-tul-Madina.

This booklet consists of questions with empty boxes beneath. Every day, at an appointed time, a person reads the questions and then ponders over what they did during the day; if they performed the described action, they tick the box, if not, it is a chance to reflect and improve.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! There are hundreds of thousands of prophetic devotees who fill in this booklet daily and reflect upon their actions, allowing them to work towards their rectification. With the grace of Allah Almighty, it is an amazing feat of Dawat-e-Islami that in even today’s day and age, it has enabled so many people to take practical steps towards contemplating their deeds.
