Once, Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم went past a place where بِسْمِ اللہِ had been written on the ground. Seeing this he said, “Curse upon he who did this. Keep بِسْمِ اللہِ in its place.”^[1]

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! In conclusion, let us hear some rulings and beneficial litanies relating to بِسْمِ اللہِ.

Blessings of بِسْمِ اللہِ 

1.   Shaykh Abū al-ꜤAbbās Aḥmad bin ꜤAlī al-Būnī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه explains, “Whoever recites بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم 786 times for 7 days straight (with ṣalāt upon the Prophet recited once before and after), his every need will be fulfilled, whether it relates to attainment of good, removal of evil or success in business - اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه.”^[2]

2.   Whoever recites بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم 21 times at night before going to sleep (with ṣalāt upon the Prophet recited once before and after), they will remain safe from Satan, theft, sudden death and every calamity - اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه.

3.   If someone recites بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم and ṣalāt on the Prophet 300 times each whilst facing the sun during sunrise, Allah will grant them sustenance from a source they cannot even imagine. By reciting this daily, they will become wealthy within a year - اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه.

4.   If someone with weak memory recites بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم 786 times (with ṣalāt upon the Prophet recited once before and after), blows on
