Qiyamat Ke Din Ke Gawah

Book Name:Qiyamat Ke Din Ke Gawah

This means: the accountability of the Day of Judgement is such a severe matter, that failing in it and falling into Hellfire is easy to do. Yet, it is difficult to obtain deliverance and enter Paradise. It is not surprising or astonishing if someone goes to Hell. Instead, astonishment is for when someone attains salvation from matters of accountability.

The terrifying spectacle of the Hour

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! We have come into this world, but how will we attain salvation? How will we answer for every deed? Our book of deeds will be handed to us. Every minor and major deed will be recorded inside it. The sinful will say:

Alas! If only my book of deeds was not given to me. And I would not have known what my account is. Alas! If only death had put an end (to me).My wealth did not benefit me in the least. All my power has gone (from me).[1]

How will we answer on the Day of Judgement?

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! How will we give accountability on the Day of Judgement? It is unfortunate we have no real concern for this. We do not have any fear. We are lazy and negligent. Our nafs and Satan has made us forget our Hereafter. We chase wealth and worldly authority instead, and fall into sin time and time again. Not only this, we become obstinate and insistent upon sinning.

We run from repentance and turning to Allah. We feel shame in front of creation, yet do not display any modesty before our Lord. We sin behind
