The Rank of Ḥamzah B.ʿAbd Al-Muṭṭalib رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ
Some people suffer from Satanic whispers when they hear things of this nature, and they may think, “How can someone help the living after they themselves have left the world?”
In light of many Quranic verses and hadith, we learn of how the noble Prophets عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام and saints رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْهِم are alive in their resting places through the bestowal of Allah. They hear the pleas of their devotees and assist them as well. Regarding Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ being alive specifically, this is something mentioned in the Quran itself!
Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was martyred in the Battle of Uḥud, and Allah has stated regarding those who were martyred in this battle:
وَ لَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قُتِلُوۡا فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللہِ اَمۡوَاتًا ؕ بَلۡ اَحۡیَآءٌ عِنۡدَ رَبِّہِمۡ یُرۡزَقُوۡنَ (۱۶۹)ۙ
Translation from Kanz al-Īmān: And those who are slain in the path of Allah, do not ever think of them as dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving sustenance.[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Brief introduction to Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ
Dear Islamic brothers! Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ is the beloved uncle of our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم . He entered the world 2 years before the birth of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .
He has 4 famous titles:
1. اَسَدُ اللّٰہ - The Lion of Allah
2. اَسَدُ الرَّسُول - The Lion of the Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
