Sanctified shrine

The shrine of Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ is close to Mount Uḥud in the illuminated city of Madīnah. DuꜤā is accepted there and needs are fulfilled. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه Many Muslims visit this place, where they make duꜤā in abundance and find their wishes are granted.

Protecting his guests

Shaykh SaꜤīd bin Quṭb رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه would often visit the shrine of Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ. Usually residents of Madinah would visit the shrine on the 12th of Rajab, but Shaykh SaꜤīd b. Quṭb رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه would arrive a few days earlier and remain until the 12th. Shaykh Muḥammad bin ꜤAbd al-Laṭīf Tahtām al-Māliki رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه explains:

One day, I also presented myself alongside Shaykh SaꜤīd b. Quṭb رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه at the shrine of Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ. When night arrived, everyone fell asleep, but I remained awake to guard them. During the night, I saw a rider on a horse that was going back and forth near the grave, so I asked him, “Who are you?” He replied, “I am Ḥamzah, son of ꜤAbd al-Muṭṭalib, and I am protecting you.” Saying this, he disappeared in front of my eyes.[1]

Every duā answered

The Sufi saint Abu al-Abbās Mursi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه said:

I once set out to visit the shrine of Sayyidunā Ḥamzah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ when a man began to follow me. We reached the shrine together, and its door opened by itself. We entered and saw a man from رجالُ الغَیْب (i.e. a saint). I then made duꜤā at that
