Superstitions and Bad Omens
* When giving salaam to someone, consider their wealth, honour, esteem and everything else to be in your protection. You should further consider it forbidden to interfere in any of these.[1]
* Regardless of how many times you meet someone in a day, even when coming in and out of the same room, giving salaam to every Muslim you see leads to great reward.
* Giving salaam first is sunnah.
* He who gives salaam first is close to Allah.
