The modesty of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
Dear Islamic brothers, ponder for a moment! If this is the level of modesty shown by a Companion of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم , then what can be said about the modesty of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم himself. In relation to this, the renowned Companion, Sayyiduna Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ states, “The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was more bashful than an unmarried girl in seclusion.”[1]
The renowned Quranic commentator, Mufti Ahmad Yaar Khan رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه makes the following comments on this hadith:

Modesty is an exclusive attribute of humans; the stronger one’s faith, the greater their level of modesty.[2]
