me whilst standing, then prior to his sitting back; and if he recites it whilst sitting, then before he stands back, his sins will be forgiven.’[1]
صَلَّی اللّٰہُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ
Whoever recites this Durood, 70 portals of mercy are opened for him.[2]
4. The reward of 600,000 Salat
اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ عَدَدَ
مَا فِیْ عِلْمِ اللّٰہِ صَلَاۃً دَ اۤ ئِمَۃًۢ بِدَوَامِ مُلْكِ اللّٰہِ
Shaykh Ahmad Saawi عَـلَيْهِ رَحۡمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـهَادِی reports from some saints of Islam that the one reciting this Durood once receives the reward of reciting Durood 600,000 times.[3]
5. Nearness to the Distinguished Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ کَمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَ رضٰی لَہٗ
One day somebody came [to the blessed court of the Beloved and Blessed Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم], and the Noble Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
