Hazrat Ayesha Ki Ilmi Shan

Book Name:Hazrat Ayesha Ki Ilmi Shan

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: And whether you disclose what is in your hearts or hide it, Allah will take account of it from you; so He will forgive whomever He wills and punish whomever He wills; and Allah is Able to do all things.[1]

Sayyidatuna ‘Aaisha Siddiqa رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهَا replied: ‘Ever since I asked this question to the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, no one has inquired from me about it. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم (in reply to my question) said: ‘O ‘Aaisha! It is an agreement of Allah Almighty with His bondman. Whatever fever he has, problem he encounters or if a thorn pricks him, even if he does not find his belonging that he had kept in his bag, becomes distressed, and later finds it at his side; a true believer will continue to be removed from his sins (due to these worries) the way red gold is extracted from a furnace.’”[2]

There are two personalities amongst the Companions of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The first one does Iftar in a hurry and hastens to offer Salah, and the second one does Iftar late and also offers Salah late.’ She رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهَا asked: ‘Who hurries in Salah and Iftar?’ We humbly said: ‘Abdullah (ibn Mas’ood).’ She رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهَا said: ‘The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم used to do so in the same manner.’ The second (person) is Sayyiduna Abu Musa رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ.”[3]
