* Asking a question in order to gain knowledge is undoubtedly a virtue. However, it is necessary to observe the etiquettes of asking questions.[1]
* Knowledge is a treasure, and asking questions is its key.[2]
* One should not feel shy in asking questions when seeking knowledge.[3]
* Flattery is not from amongst the characteristics of a believer. However, one may flatter (another) in order to gain knowledge.[4]
* Questions which give no benefit to a person’s worldly affairs or those of the hereafter, should be avoided.[5]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
The Salawaat-‘Alan-Nabi and Du’as that are recited in the Sunnah-Inspiring weekly Ijtima’ (congregation) of Dawat-e-Islami:

1. The Salat-‘Alan-Nabi for the night preceding Friday
اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ وَ سَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِیِّ الْاُمِّیِّ الْحَبِیْبِ الْعَالِی الْقَدْرِ الْعَظِیْمِ الْجَاہِ وَ عَلٰی اٰلِہٖ وَ صَحْبِہٖ وَ سَلِّمْ
The saints of Islam have quoted that whoever recites this Salat-‘Alan-Nabi at least once on the night preceding Friday [the night between Thursday and Friday] on a regular basis will be blessed with the vision of the Beloved and
