Madani pearls for the seeker of knowledge
Dear Islamic brothers! We will now have the honour of listening to some Madani pearls for the seeker of knowledge. Let us first listen to 2 sayings of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
1. He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: “Whosoever travels upon a path in search of knowledge, Allah Almighty makes the path to Paradise easy for him.”[1]
2. He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also stated: “The angels become pleased with the one who leaves his home to acquire knowledge, and they spread their wings for him.”[2]
* It is a Sunnah of the pious predecessors to travel in search of knowledge.[3]
