Shabe Barat Ki Ahmiyat o Talaba k Fazail

Book Name:Shabe Barat Ki Ahmiyat o Talaba k Fazail

no idea how much longer we have left in the world. In fact, maybe this year, it is destined for us to pass away. Perhaps at the time our future destiny is being written, we may be involved in all forms of negligence. It is not right that we spend the rest of our lives heedless from Allah and the Hereafter, so be quick in repenting to Allah and seeking forgiveness from others for harming them, or not fulfilling their rights.

It is mentioned in Ghunya-tul-Talibeen: “Allah Almighty has made the 15th night of Sha’baan visible, and the Night of Power (Laylah al-Qadr) hidden. The wisdom behind this is that the Night of Power is the night of mercy, forgiveness and salvation from Hellfire. Allah Almighty concealed this night so people remain in constant search for it. However, the 15th of Sha’baan has been openly revealed, because it is the night of command, the night of displeasure and pleasure; acceptance and rejection; proximity and distance; happiness and misery, and the night of honour and piety.

On this night, some people are blessed with good fortune, and others are unfortunate. Some people are rewarded, and others are humiliated. Some are honoured, and others are reprimanded. Burial shrouds are washed and prepared, but the ones who are to wear them are wandering aimlessly. Many people are like this; their graves have been dug and prepared, but they are enjoying the luxuries of the world. Some people are busy in laughter, despite being near to their deaths. The construction of houses is completed but along with it, the lives of their owners are also finished. Many people are hopeful for reward, but they are subject to punishment. Some desire to receive good news, but instead, they incur great losses. People want to be admitted into Jannah, but they are destined for Hellfire. Many people want to be close to Allah and His Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, but have separation written in their fate. People wish to receive goodness, but are instead afflicted with troubles. Many yearn to become kings, but instead, they are destroyed.”[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard about the significance of this night, and how sensitive these matters are. Nobody is aware of what has been destined for him. Therefore, we should follow in the footsteps of the Prophet
