by the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم becomes visibly apparent. Besides him, nobody else has this rank and stature. The event of Me’raj occurred in a state of complete wakefulness, with body and soul both present. This is the view of the majority of the people of Islam, the greater majority of the honourable Companions, as well as the those who are from the elite Companions.’^[1]

Allah Almighty can do everything!

Dear Islamic brothers! When mentioning the event of Me’raj in the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty begins by saying the word: سُبْحٰن. This means, the being of Allah Almighty is free from all weaknesses and flaws. One of the countless wisdoms behind using this word first, is to denounce and reject all of those who say that this Me’raj did not occur with the physical body of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. With one word, Allah Almighty disproves all of their claims. ^[2]

Dear Islamic brothers! People objecting to the Me’raj of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is not a new thing. From 1400 years ago until today, some ignorant individuals object and deny this event. For a Muslim, it is enough for him to keep the power of Allah Almighty in mind, rather than trying to understand this event with his own intellect and mind. This is because, Allah Almighty is all-powerful, and He can cause anything to happen with His power. In order to understand this further, let’s consider the miracle of Sayyiduna Asif bin Barkhiya
رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ, who was from the nation of Sayyiduna Sulayman عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم. He brought a jewel encrusted throne from Yemen, which was 80 foot tall and 40 feet wide, all the way to Syria - faster than an eye can blink. This event is mentioned in the 19th Juz of the Holy Quran, in verse 40 of Surah Naml:
