the ‘Arsh with his presence. Every mean and medium was gathered, for the happiness and hosting of this distinguished Arabian guest.

2.   On the night of Me’raj, every angel and all the heavens sang like songbirds, in their own melodies and styles, and they all said: ‘Congratulations to the springtime! Congratulations to every garden! With the blessings of this night, spring will be granted its own spring, and gardens will begin to blossom.’

3.   On the night of Me’raj, the earth and skies were both overjoyed, and they swayed in happiness.  The atmosphere was full of commotion, delight and jubilation everywhere. What was the reason for this happiness? This is due to the Me’raj of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, and in celebration of this, light itself began to shower like rain, the way flowers are cast upon a grooms arrival.

4.   On the night of Me’raj, fragrance and perfumed scent radiated from the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, welcoming all of the illumination arranged for his blessed arrival. Due to his happiness, the beautiful face of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was glowing with such unparalleled brightness, that it enlightened the entirety of creation, even up to the ‘Arsh.

5.   On the night of Me’raj, there was so much brightness and light, it appeared as though mirrors had been placed everywhere, reflecting and shining light all over. Alongside this, the Holy Ka’bah had been decorated, making it appear even more beautiful. Hajar-ul-Aswad even began to appear as a beauty spot upon the Holy Ka’bah, and there are thousands upon thousands of colourful decorations across the universe, for the sake of that blessed night.

6.   On the night of Me’raj, there was special illumination in the holy, sacred and blessed eyes of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

7.   On the night of Me’raj, sweet-smelling and perfumed clouds had come overhead, filling every heart with joy and contentment.
