straight through them. The Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم asked as to who they were to which Jibraeel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم replied: These are the people who would usurp the wealth of orphans.[1] Likewise, the Prophet عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام saw people being punished who did not pay Zakat. Dear Islamic brothers! Ponder over these punishments and look towards your inabilities and weaknesses! Our weakness is such that when we suffer from a light fever or headache, we feel as if we are being tormented. So how will we bear the painful punishments of the Hereafter? Our weak and feeble bodies will never be able to bear such punishment. There is time however; come to your senses. Refrain from backbiting, slandering and revealing faults in others because on The Day of Judgement, such people will be raised as dogs.[3] Similarly, refrain from earning an unlawful livelihood through usury in business.
