Excellences of Giving Sadaqah
were gathered for me, then Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم moved me forward and I led of all the Prophets عَلَیۡہِمُ السَّلَام in Salah[1]
O devotees of the Prophet! On the night of Me’raj, not only did the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم lead the blessed Prophets in Salah, he also led the Angels in Salah in the skies, so that the excellence of our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم could be revealed to the Angels as well.[2]
In short, the superiority of our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was revealed to all those over whom our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم passed.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Another wisdom behind the Night Ascension
6. In verse 111 of Surah Al-Tawbah, part 11, Allah Almighty has stated:
اِنَّ اللّٰہَ اشۡتَرٰی مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ وَ اَمۡوَالَہُمۡ بِاَنَّ لَہُمُ الۡجَنَّۃَ ؕ
Indeed, Allah has purchased from the Muslims their wealth and lives in this exchange; that, for them is Paradise.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 11, Surah Al Taubah, verse 111)
It is stated in this blessed verse that Allah Almighty is the Buyer of the lives and possessions of true believers and true believers are those who sell; the things which are sold are the lives and possessions of true believers and their price is Paradise. This trade is done through the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم; the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the representative of this transaction. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
